It’s 2:30 PM here and I’m just seeing the effing headline about the NC subprime court blocking the BoE from certifying Allison’s election win. I’m so mad I could do so much more than cuss! So what now?
Hard to say. The current administration expects its judiciary to toe the line, precedent and “settled law” be damned. They’ll do whatever they feel is most to their benefit - that’s what I expect.
This is such bullshit by BS republicans. When they win, everything worked perfectly. When they lose though all they can do is whine, cry and litigate. To hell with the lot of them!
Is Griffin cherry picking votes or groups of voters who he already knows didn’t go his way? Or is he just trying to reduce the total number and hoping that eventually the tally will fall in his favour?
As far as I can tell, he isn't "cherry-picking" in the usual sense. Even election-deniers have thought his strategy unworkable, given that it conflicts with R efforts at reform. I think he thinks that people who couldn't fill out their registration properly are probably going to trend D, and is hoping that he'll find enough to change the outcome. It's a Hail Mary, but if it gets to the NCSC, who knows?
